先日、GMATオフィシャル教材の１つである、Verbal Review 2nd Edition(以下VR2)が発売されたので、入手して内容をチェックしてみました。

青い表紙のやつです。ちなみにVRの初版(以下VR1)は紫色、OG12thは小豆色(?)の表紙です。

とり急ぎ、SCとCRの新規問題だけ調べました。

SC：全部で113問あります。うち、新規が27問ですから、86問はVR1と重複してます。

参考までに、VR1のSC問題は全部で113問、全てOG10th（懐かしや）からの引継ぎです(11thじゃないよ）。要するに、VR2のSC問題のうち86問は、10thに掲載されているものと全く同じってことです。

CR：全部で86問あります。このうち、24問が新たに追加されてます。。62問はVR1と同じ。

CRも、VR1（CRは82問）は、全て10thから転載されています。だからVR2の62問は10thから受け継がれたものです。

新たに追加された問題を全部解いて、簡単な解説を作成してみましたが（プロトタイプなのでまだ公開しませんよ）、ま、なんてことない、「いつもどおり」の問題ばっかりですね。

VR2を購入すべきかどうか、と訊ねられると、例によって「お好きなように」ですね。VRだろうがOGだろうが、大昔からひたすら問題を使い回し続けてますからね。なんでも一緒ですわ。

一応、知りたい人はご参考にどうぞって感じで。

VR1とVR2の対照表みたいなものが欲しい方は、塾生の方なら勿論差し上げますので、メールでリクエストして下さい。
